Agency Producer Overview

The Licensed Insurance Sales Producer is responsible for driving new business, supporting existing clients, and contributing to overall agency growth. This is a full time, in-office role for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, closing business, and helping clients make informed insurance decisions.

Responsibilities

Become Part of a TexHQ Agency

• Present and explain insurance coverage options based on client needs and risk profiles

• Meet or exceed new business production goals set with the Agent

• Prospect and generate new business through agency-provided leads and referrals

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and cross-selling

• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve questions or concerns

• Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines and coverages

• Accurately document client interactions and sales activity in agency systems

Growth within the Agency

• Set goals and expectations with your agency owner
• Participate in University of Farmers online training and weekly District workshops
• Enhance your sales abilities and marketing techniques with your agency owner

Requirements

Qualifications

• Active Texas General Lines or Personal Lines Property and Casualty insurance license required

• Use our free online study program and w/in 45 Days of hire obtain Texas General Lines Life, Accident, Health HMO license

• Prior sales or customer-facing experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization and follow-up skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and accountability

• Ability to work a full-time, in-office schedule Monday through Friday

• Must pass a background check including state, federal and county criminal history

Compensation

• Base salary plus commission on new business

Physical Work Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or on the phone

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by phone, and electronically

• Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers

• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds occasionally, such as files, a laptop, or marketing materials
