Location: Brooklyn, NY Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 5×8-Hour Days Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hours per Week: 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on Facility Requirements
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and image accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
- Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors.
- Ensure all radiographic images are properly labeled according to department SOP.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and transmit images to PACS in a timely manner.
- Ensure all studies are completed and documented in IDX.
- Accurately record required patient tracking information.
- Follow department policies and maintain quality standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mammography Radiologic Technologist.
- Must possess a valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography.
- Current ARRT registration required.
- Must maintain MQSA requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively and efficiently.
