Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM OR 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 37.5/hr
Pay Range:
Local Pay : $59/ Hour on W2
Travel Pay: Pay Package

Pay Rate on W2 (Hourly) Taxable: $22
Pay Rate on W2 (Weekly) Taxable: $825.00
Hours: 37.50
Stipend Hourly (Non-Taxable): $45.00
Stipend Weekly (Non-Taxable): $1,687.50
Gross Hourly Pay: $67
Gross Weekly Pay: $2,512.50

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technician to join a leading healthcare facility in New York City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care and image quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
• Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors.
• Ensure all radiographic images are accurately labeled according to department protocols.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and transmit studies to PACS in a timely manner.
• Complete and document all studies in IDX and other required systems.
• Accurately record patient tracking information and maintain complete documentation.
• Follow departmental policies, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Current ARRT Certification.
• MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF EXP AS A MAMMO RAD TECH**
• Prefer biopsy and stereo experience
• Must maintain MQSA requirements.
• Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Strong knowledge of mammography positioning, compression, and imaging techniques.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.

Experience:

• Mammography: 3 years (Required)
• biopsy and stereo : 1 year (Required)
• Must maintain MQSA requirements: 1 year (Required)
