Job Description

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient requirements and create specialized therapy programs to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply research-supported techniques to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living capabilities
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Professionals: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded, comprehensive patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapeutic strategies to facilitate ongoing improvement at home
• Track and Chart Progress: Document clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring patients remain on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Encouragement and support for continuing education and post-grad certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
