Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Location: Boynton Beach, FL Salary Range: $56,000-$62,000 About the Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join the finance team in Boynton Beach. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the organization’s day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the month-end close process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where they can make a meaningful impact on the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger. Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger account reconciliations. Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice review and payment processing. Assist with accounts receivable functions, including cash application and customer account reconciliations. Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy. Support financial reporting and audit preparation. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other accounting projects as assigned. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 2–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a staff accountant or similar role. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
