Accounting Manager/Assistant Conroller CPA

Overview Hybrid Position CPA – responsible for strong general ledger month‑end close, financial statement preparation, and managing a team. Supports audits and maintains internal controls. Responsibilities Prepare and review general ledger accounting, financial statements, and account analysis. Execute month‑end close, ensuring account activity is recorded, corrections are made, adjustments calculated, and journal entries prepared. Prepare schedules, financial statement highlights, and review accrual schedules and ad‑hoc reports and analysis. Assist with budget preparation and forecasting. Review and verify entries to ensure accuracy of all account figures. Assist with external and internal audits. Oversee bank reconciliations and cash posting reports. Qualifications CPA required; preferred strong public (auditing) experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, accruals and month‑end close. Experience managing a team.
