Lead Endpoint Security EngineerPosition SummarySecurity Engineer responsible for Vanguard's endpoint security platforms and operational services. This role serves as a technical leader within the endpoint security space, partnering with security, engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to understand business challenges, evaluate requirements, and develop scalable, secure solutions. The individual will help shape endpoint security strategy, drive large-scale deployments, and lead operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of endpoint security technologies.Deployment, Engineering & Continuous ImprovementLead enterprise deployments, upgrades, integrations, and platform lifecycle activities across the endpoint security ecosystem.Drive automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement through engineering best practices, standardization, and process optimization.Evaluate new technologies and capabilities to ensure scalable, supportable, and secure solutions.Endpoint Security & Solution DeliveryPartner with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop practical endpoint security solutions that balance security, user experience, and operational supportability.Serve as a subject matter expert for endpoint security technologies, providing technical leadership and guiding solution design across multiple initiatives.Assess platform dependencies, architectural considerations, and cross-technology impacts when introducing new capabilities.Collaboration & Technical LeadershipLead technical discussions and influence solution direction across engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams.Provide guidance on complex technical challenges and communicate recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.Contribute to endpoint security strategy, governance, and service ownership practices.Operations & Platform ManagementHelp lead the operational support, stability, and resiliency of enterprise endpoint security platforms.Drive platform health, monitoring, incident response, vulnerability remediation, and operational risk reduction activities.Ensure endpoint security services remain reliable, scalable, and effective across a large enterprise environment.Required QualificationsStrong experience with enterprise endpoint security technologies such as CrowdStrike, Tanium, Microsoft Defender, Elastic Security, Qualys, Digital Guardian, or similar platforms.Deep understanding of endpoint security, endpoint engineering, and enterprise deployment practices.Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments and technology deployments.Experience with observability, monitoring, automation, and operational resilience initiatives.Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.Special FactorsSponsorshipVanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.About VanguardAt Vanguard, we don't just have a mission—we're on a mission.To work for the long-term financial wellbeing of our clients.
