LPN Hospice

LPN/LVN – Hospice

Location: Marlborough, MA and surrounding towns

Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: 2-3 weeks from job offer

Hours: 40 hours/week

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Requirements:

• 1 years experience in hospice/home health

Pay Rate:

• $48/hr

The LPN/LVN – Hospice is responsible for providing care, comfort and support to terminally ill patients. The LPN/LVN – Hospice assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of hospice patient care in various settings. The LPN/LVN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments and critical thinking in an effective and efficient manner with supervision to perform patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse for the state in which the nurse practices
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
