GRCS Performing Arts Marketing Coordinator

POSITION TITLE: Performing Arts Marketing Coordinator BUILDING: GRCES Evergreen, GRCES Iroquois, Rockford Christian, and GRCMS SCHEDULE: Stipend Position (2026–2027 school year) REPORTS TO: Performing Arts Dept Chair & Director of Theatre COORDINATES WITH: GRCS Marketing Team, GRCS Performing Arts Faculty, The Stage Company, and CAW Production Staff POSITION SUMMARY The Performing Arts Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and tracking the marketing and social media plans for all GRCS Performing Arts classes, concerts, and productions. The Coordinator will work independently and collaborate with the GRCS Marketing Dept, GRCS Performing Arts Faculty, The Stage Company, and CAW Production Staff to create promotional content across social media and print materials, and lead advertising, targeted marketing, and PR campaigns. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Work with leadership to create a mission-driven, creative, welcoming and consistent brand strategy across all marketing and communication streams following GRCS guidelines Create and curate content across a variety of platforms to increase engagement, attendance and brand recognition. Work with leadership to connect marketing and communications strategies to support fundraising strategies, donor engagement, sponsorship, partnerships, and community outreach. Support all advertising campaigns, including print, web, and email. Manage social media and email marketing campaigns, content and calendar. Create social media and marketing content, including video and photo editing, graphic design and copywriting. REQUIREMENTS BFA or BA in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Passion to work with a diverse student population from a Christian perspective Strong skills regarding social media and email marketing; an eye for good design and aesthetics Exceptional attention to detail, time management, communications, and organizational skills Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends to capture social media content Ability to work both independently and within a team environment The Performing Arts Marketing Coordinator is a: Disciple of Christ Culturally Competent Professional Thoughtful Neighbor Creative Solution Finder Communicator and Collaborator READY TO APPLY?
