Assignment length: 13-26 weeks accepted

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in an inpatient setting required
- BLS required
- Oncology certification preferred; must be able to administer chemotherapy if needed
- EMR experience with EPIC is required
- Core clinical skills: inpatient med/surg care, colostomy care, wound care, accessing ports, central line management, blood product administration, heparin and insulin drips

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients with oncology diagnoses
- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive treatments as necessary
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including those related to cancer treatments and acute medical issues
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and recovery
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care procedures
- Participate in monthly staff meetings and comply with organizational policies

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours (2 shifts)
- Attendance to monthly staff meetings expected
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend required
- Call required if called off on a pre-scheduled shift
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
