Contract HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract HR Generalist to join our client's team in Fremont, CA. This role will support a variety of human resources functions, with a strong emphasis on full-cycle recruiting for frontline manufacturing positions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting employees and business objectives.

HR Generalist Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, primarily for frontline manufacturing and production positions.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations accurately and efficiently.
• Serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and help foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain HR records and assist with reporting, audits, and documentation.
• Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational objectives.

Employment Type: Contract

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour (depending on experience)

HR Generalist Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar Human Resources role.
• Full-cycle recruiting experience required; manufacturing or industrial recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and employment law compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
