Quality Technician 2

Summary The Quality Technician 2 is responsible for conducting testing procedures to ensure finished products conform to quality standards. This position is also responsible for maintaining quality systems. Target PR Range: 30.3875–37.895/hr DOE Key Responsibilities Performs inspection of purchased parts, materials, components and equipment as materials are received from vendors or subcontractors Tests and inspects incoming materials using standard operating procedures Determines methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for inspection Works from drawings, sketches, and specifications Monitors inspection measuring devices and procedures for accuracy Verifies and logs customer returns & nonconforming materials Supports nonconforming material investigations Maintains inventory log Conducts monthly cycle counts Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position.
