Fiber TechnicianStratus Construction is looking for Fiber Technicians to install and repair Stratus' network.Required Skills/Abilities:Hand digging and manual laboringVault/HH placementRodding, handline and fiber blowing methodsUnderstanding MPOE and building entriesUse all required personal protective equipmentDirecting trafficSafely operate company vehiclesUse of hand toolsAbility to work in various physical conditions such as heights and confined spacesProfessionalism when face to face with customer contactEmployees must be able to work outside in all weather conditionsLift up to 75 lbs.Pass a drug screen, clean MVR, and background checkPreferred Skills/Abilities:Fiber splicingHDD operationFork or scissor lift certificationJob Type: Full-timePay: From $20.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experienceBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10-hour shiftMonday to ThursdayOn callOvertime24/7 emergency, weekends and holidays as neededLicense/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Work Location: Rock Falls
