Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Summary: The QTI Group is seeking a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician to support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, including PLCs, robots, and other computer-controlled systems. This role also assists with general facilities maintenance and process improvements to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm and overtime as required Saturday's from 10:00am-3:00pm. Pay: $22-28/hr depending on experience plus a $2.00/hr shift premium Responsibilities: Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on production and non-production equipment.


Assist the Maintenance Manager with equipment calibrations, programmable device configurations, and hardware adjustments to resolve issues and improve reliability.


Recommend and enforce maintenance safety requirements.


Coordinate inventory of commonly used maintenance items to optimize storage and prevent excess stock.


Execute preventive maintenance according to company procedures and work instructions.


Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to enhance preventative and predictive maintenance processes.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.


Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and assess equipment needs. Working knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC troubleshooting, repair, and programming.


Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings; familiarity with operating systems up to 3Ph and 480Vac.


Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task effectively.


Strong verbal and written communication skills.
