Maintenance Technician - Split Shift

Summary:The QTI Group is seeking a Direct Hire Night Shift Maintenance candidate. This role acts as the highest-level escalation point for maintenance issues and plays a key role in continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and team development. It is ideal for a highly skilled technician who enjoys solving complex problems and leading by example.Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am plus overtime as requiredPay: $34.54 plus $1.50 shift Premium for any hours worked after 3:00pmResponsibilitiesServe as the escalation point for complex equipment failures and advanced troubleshootingDiagnose and repair electrical systems up to four hundred eighty voltsTroubleshoot motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and automated systemsPerform advanced mechanical repairs, fabrication, and welding as neededOversee and support preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliabilityConduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issuesLead continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing downtime and improving efficiencySupport facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and structural needsQualificationsExtensive experience in industrial maintenance, including electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to troubleshoot high voltage systems and automated equipmentExperience with fabrication, welding, and equipment modificationUnderstanding of preventive maintenance practices and reliability conceptsKnowledge of continuous improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing, defined as a system focused on reducing waste and improving efficiencyPerks of the job:Air conditioned facilityBright and cleanESOPEmployees can wear one wireless earbud while working on the production floor#bd
