Sales Support Specialist

Job Description Summary: Employee will assist with the end-to-end process of order fulfillment and support the Book Manager. Minimum Qualifications 1-2 years of sales and procurement experience Must live in a Federally designated Hub Zone Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. Essential Functions Prepare and submit Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and bids. Ensure timely responses and collaborate with the sales team for comprehensive proposals. Efficiently fulfill orders by processing and documenting customer transactions. Coordinate with various departments to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Identify and procure products from non-catalog suppliers as needed. Negotiate terms and conditions to secure favorable agreements. Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to address inquiries and ensure accuracy. Reconcile accounts receivable aging reports to ensure accuracy. Maintain organized and up-to-date records by populating SharePoint with transaction details. Facilitate easy access to information for relevant teams. Collaborate with the book manager and accounting support to ensure seamless financial transactions. Physical Demands Remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods, communicating with others to exchange information, repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned, sedentary work that primarily involves sitting.
