Overview Position Overview At Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), Warehouse Associates keep operations running smoothly receiving, organizing, and safely loading materials with precision and pride. Responsibilities and Qualifications Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Product Knowledge Provide service to customers entering the warehouse Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size Warehouse Operations & Maintenance Perform minor building maintenance when necessary Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories Safety Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment Use proper lifting techniques Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing Trainings Attend and participate in all required company training programs Physical Requirements Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation Occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs. utilizing proper lifting procedures Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned Miscellaneous Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers Other duties as assigned Qualifications Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training Compensation and Benefits Reports To Warehouse Manager Compensation The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
