Patient Financial Access Facilitator

Job Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bilingual Medical Receptionist in the retail industry, located in GREENWICH, Connecticut, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for various functions related to patient registration, scheduling, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of patient financial information and related procedures. Responsibilities Oversee the process of patient check-in and check-out, ensuring timely processing. Update and maintain accurate patient demographic and financial information. Verify insurance eligibility and identify and collect co-pay balances. Accurately schedule patient appointments in collaboration with the clinical team. Ensure proper visit information is documented including visit type, duration, and provider. Provide support in coordinating arrangements for patients requiring additional assistance, such as non-English speaking, hard of hearing, or disabled patients. Ensure all patient registration items are satisfied on the patient accounts. This role requires proficiency in the English and Spanish languages, excellent communication, customer service skills, and a detailed understanding of insurance policies and billing procedures.
