Manager Planning, External Operations

Manager Planning, External Operations role leads supply chain planning for DePuy Synthes orthopedic product portfolio across multiple U.S. locations. Accountable for external manufacturing operations, inventory management, capacity planning, and service level performance through data-driven continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead external operations planning activities to meet service level, inventory, and agility objectives
• Drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes using data-driven systematic approach
• Manage control tower activities, short-term exception resolution, capacity planning, and inventory management
• Develop and execute capacity and supply planning strategy with associated key performance metrics
• Coordinate demand rationalization across franchise planning organizations and global production planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or Operations preferred
• 8 years related experience in demand planning, supply planning, or supply chain management
• Alternatively, 6 years related experience with Master's degree
• Advanced analytics and data interpretation skills to identify root causes and solutions
• Ability to work effectively in complex matrix organizations with global partners
• Strong relationship-building, influence, and independent work capability
• MBA degree preferred
