Staff Accountant

Overview Staff Accountant position in Dallas with growth opportunities and competitive salary. Jobot is the hosting company for this role. Responsibilities Compile and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through the preparation and posting of complex journal entries. Perform complex reconciliations of various accounts (e.g., bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, intercompany transactions) and resolve discrepancies. Assist in month-end close processes. Ensure compliance with ASC 842 lease accounting standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2–3 years of general ledger accounting experience. Knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
