Unit Description
The Special Care Unit is a 6-bed inpatient unit which provides acute care services for the critically ill patient. Those admitted to SCU require treatment for shock states, trauma, MI's, unstable angina, mechanical ventilation, psychiatry, and pediatric conditions such as seizures, respiratory states and dehydration.
