Senior Staff Accountant - Complex Accounting

Responsibilities You will be responsible for but not limited to: Performing revenue accounting under ASC 606 and inventory accounting processes Executing and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and reclassifications Ensuring timely and accurate completion of close activities in accordance with reporting deadlines Analyzing financial results and investigating variances Preparing and reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations Ensuring reconciliations are completed accurately in a timely manner with appropriate supporting documentation Identifying and resolving discrepancies and aged reconciling items Maintaining reconciliation schedules and supporting continuous improvement of reconciliation processes Supporting external audits and quarterly reviews Assisting with SOX compliance Ensuring adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures Maintaining strong documentation to support audit readiness Partnering with FP&A and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Supporting accounting for operational activities Assisting in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Minimum of 5-8 years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles Understanding of ASC 606 and long-term contract accounting a plus Familiarity with public company reporting and SEC requirements Experience with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent) Ability to work with financial reporting and data analysis tools CPA, or equivalent advanced certification a plus Experience in a public company or IPO-ready environment Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) Experience with account reconciliation tools (e.g., FloQast or similar) Exposure to inventory and cost accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr IC Resources
