Senior Financial Accountant

Our client is hiring for a technical accountant. The company is growing and offers a fast-paced, exciting key spot for the right fit. This is a very entrepreneurial role, getting in on the ground floor. There is a lot of room for advancement. In the beginning the role will be remote but will evolve into a hybrid role. Responsibilities for technical accountant Review earnings releases and conference call transcripts to ensure that information reported to the public is accurate. Direct and oversee all aspects of SEC compliance efforts including the coordination, preparation and analysis of financial statement filings, including press releases, to comply with GAAP and SEC requirements Prepare certain month-end close journal entries and account reconciliations Lead the company audit process and act as point person. Perform technical accounting research to assist in resolving accounting and reporting issues Draft and maintain Corporate Accounting Policies. Research accounting literature and apply technical standards to complex business issues and transactions, including revenue recognition, business combinations, impairment valuations, inventory. Draft accounting and financial reporting position papers for review by management and external auditors Assist in technical accounting research and resolving internal technical accounting issues Familiarity with Revenue Recognition /ASC606. Required: Technical Accounting experience (GAAP, IFRS), 4 + years of relevant experience, Education minimum is a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, MBA/CPA.
