This is a hands‑on role, working directly with the CFO, blending financial planning & analysis with core accounting execution — you’ll take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering, while also supporting close and revenue recognition. You’ll bring a tech‑forward mindset, using Campfire and AI tools to modernize accounting and FP&A processes, freeing up more time for strategically impactful work. Key Responsibilities FP&A & Business Partnering Own budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning models, partnering closely with the CFO and department leaders to support strategic decision‑making. Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that give leadership real‑time visibility into financial performance. Support variance analysis and financial storytelling — explaining not just what happened, but why. Accounting Support Support month‑end close and revenue recognition processes, helping ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Systems & Process Improvement Become a power user of the Campfire platform, using it to automate and speed up close, reconciliation, and forecasting processes. Identify and implement AI‑enabled solutions (within Campfire and other AI tools) for reporting, forecasting, and accounting workflows. Audit & Compliance Support the annual financial statement audit, preparing reports and supporting documentation as needed. Who are you? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA a plus. 3‑5+ years of experience spanning accounting and FP&A, or accounting experience with a genuine interest in moving into FP&A (SaaS or technology environment preferred). Working knowledge of GAAP and exposure to ASC 606/SaaS revenue models. Experience with Campfire, NetSuite, or similar platforms. Genuine interest in leveraging AI tools (Claude, Copilot, or similar) for process automation across accounting and FP&A. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight. Strong communication skills — this role partners directly with Finance leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
