Senior Revenue Accountant

What You'll Do Evaluate contracts with unique or complex terms to determine the correct revenue treatment Draft accounting position papers and technical memos covering revenue and related topics Build and maintain the schedule tracking deferred revenue balances over time Record monthly journal entries tied to revenue under both US GAAP and relevant statutory frameworks Own specific tasks within the monthly close cycle, ensuring completion against the close calendar Identify and implement improvements to strengthen controls and reduce risk within the revenue cycle Partner with external auditors by preparing supporting schedules and analytical documentation for revenue and related costs Work closely with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge across the broader accounting organization What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required CPA or Master's degree preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 experience a plus) Technology industry experience a plus Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and organizational skills Experience with major ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite) and BI tools a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr StevenDouglas
