They need a trusted expert who understands their business, anticipates the questions they haven’t asked yet, and translates regulatory complexity into decisions they can act on.

The Expert Partner role exists to be that person. This senior, hands-on individual-contributor role operates at the intersection of four core pillars:

You will act as the primary point of expertise for a portfolio of key client relationships, authoring high-impact regulatory intelligence while collaborating closely with commercial teams to drive retention, expansion, and business growth. This is not a traditional compliance-practitioner or people-management role. Success comes from being intellectually curious, self-directed, comfortable rolling up your sleeves to do the work yourself, and establishing credibility with senior customer stakeholders. Naturally, this role will evolve as Vixio automates more of its content production processes using AI tooling. Today, you will remain close to the underlying research and analysis. Over time, your focus will increasingly shift towards validating automated outputs, identifying gaps or inaccuracies, applying expert judgement, and turning regulatory developments into relevant customer insight. Accountability for the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and usefulness of the intelligence remains central throughout that transition, as AI tooling supports your day-to-day work without replacing your expert judgment and deep domain knowledge.

What you’ll be doing:

Strategic Client Advisory

• Executive Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for a defined cohort of key FS client accounts, acting as their trusted advisor and subject‑matter authority to shape decision‑making for senior compliance executives.
• Tailored Value Delivery: Map Vixio’s intelligence directly to each client’s strategic objectives, compliance challenges, and operational priorities to provide actionable decision support.
• Senior Escalation Point: Act as the primary escalation point for technically complex or strategically sensitive regulatory and technical queries.
• Proactive Market Engagement: Maintain regular dialogue and networks across regulators, policymakers, industry bodies, banks, and payments firms to anticipate emerging regulatory challenges.

Commercial Growth & Business Impact

• Revenue Partnership: Collaborate directly with Sales and Customer Success to support retention, account expansion, and new business through subject‑matter credibility.
• Renewal Safeguarding: Maintain proactive contact with assigned accounts to ensure clients realise demonstrable ROI throughout their subscription term, securing renewals.
• Account Growth Mapping: Surface expansion, cross‑sell, and new‑jurisdiction opportunities within your client portfolio, driving commercial growth.
• Deal Support: Deliver bespoke expertise in client briefings, product demonstrations, and prospect conversations, making Vixio’s value tangible.
• Market‑Driven Strategy: Synthesise client feedback, market insight, and coverage gaps to feed into Product and Regulatory Intelligence commercial roadmaps.

Research, Analysis & Thought Leadership

• High‑Impact Analysis: Author authoritative, forward‑looking regulatory intelligence, Outlooks, and thematic analysis that position Vixio as the definitive market authority.
• Jurisdictional Expertise: Maintain deep, nuanced expertise in regulatory frameworks and jurisdictions across North America and LATAM relevant to FS, specifically banking and payments.
• Trend Synthesis: Monitor and evaluate regulatory developments, enforcement activity, and market trends to explain practical business implications.

AI Integration & Workflow Innovation

• Quality Control & Oversight: Review AI-generated regulatory monitoring and analysis for accuracy, completeness, and context, validating material outputs against primary sources.
• Process Improvement: Identify gaps and optimization opportunities in AI workflows, sharing effective practices and customer feedback to elevate research infrastructure.

What you’ll bring to Vixio:

• Regulatory Compliance Expertise: Significant experience in regulatory compliance and Financial Services (specifically banking and payments) with the depth and breadth of knowledge to establish immediate credibility with senior client stakeholders.
• Trusted Client Advisory: A proven track record of building and managing senior client relationships, functioning as a trusted advisor whose judgment and perspective are actively sought out.
• Regulatory Interpretation: experience analysing regulatory change and explaining its practical implications, not solely operating internal compliance controls.
• Strategic Communication & Presentation: Demonstrable experience in presenting to, facilitating workshops with, and advising C-level and senior leadership audiences in both planned and reactive settings.
• Exceptional Written Communication: The ability to produce regulatory analysis and thought leadership that is intellectually rigorous, clearly structured, and genuinely useful, moving beyond mere technical accuracy.
• Commercial Instincts: Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify client opportunities, understand how relationships drive business outcomes, and work effectively alongside commercial teams to convert interest into commitment.
• Autonomous Execution & Collaborative Leadership: A high‑agency, self‑directed professional who thrives in a decentralized environment; you possess the discipline to own complex regulatory agendas and client priorities, while simultaneously acting as a force multiplier for the team through proactive knowledge sharing and collaborative problem‑solving.
