Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele on a 20-bed unit in a hospital setting located in Saratoga Springs, New York. Start date: 10/13/2026. Contract duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,285–$2,388 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12) with a rotating night/day schedule. This travel assignment requires flexibility to meet the facility’s needs and includes floating to other units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults on a Med Surg Tele/palliative-stroke focused unit with appropriate care plans
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
- Document care and progress in EPIC; participate in care planning, patient education, and discharge planning
- Support unit operations by assuming charge responsibilities as assigned and assisting with prioritization during shifts
- Adapt to unit needs, including floating to related units and adhering to patient safety and quality standards
- Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and staff; ensure shift handoffs are complete and accurate

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience, with at least 1 year in Med Surg Tele or related specialty
- Willingness to float to other units as needed and to work a rotating night/day schedule
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and comply with unit policies and electronic charting
