Ultrasound Breast Sonographer

Location: Greensboro, NC

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8-hour shifts)

Position Overview:

We are seeking two (2) dedicated and skilled Full-Time Breast Sonographers in Greensboro, NC. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing ultrasound procedures, demonstrating advanced knowledge of ultrasound protocols, equipment, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly, explain pre- and post-procedure instructions, and verify patient identity. Consistently utilize AIDET principles in all patient and provider encounters to ensure an exceptional experience.

• Clinical Excellence: Perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams using proper protocols and positioning techniques. Safely transport patients, verify order accuracy, and document clinical information.

• Documentation & Workflow: Record exam details, retrieve reports, and scan documentation accurately within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and PACS systems.

• Safety & Environment: Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe exam room and equipment. Practice safe patient maneuvers and manage exam room supply levels.

• Compliance & Professional Growth: Abide by all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Maintain your professional license and technical knowledge through educational workshops, publications, and professional societies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certification: Must be registered in Breast Sonography through the ARDMS or ARRT, OR be willing and qualified to obtain this registration within 90 days of hire.

• Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including email. Ability to navigate and utilize EMR and PACS systems. Proficiency with ultrasound equipment, disinfection units, and standard office technology.

• Core Competencies: Strong adherence to patient safety, service excellence, and service recovery principles.
