Practice Leader - Stormwater Location: Worcester or Lawrence Salary: Competitive compensation, based on experience Overview A well-established civil engineering firm is seeking a Practice Leader (Stormwater) to strengthen its capabilities and better serve its clients and community. This strategic position offers the opportunity to shape and grow a stormwater practice from the ground up, supported by a successful and collaborative organization. The role is ideal for a technical leader with a strong client network who is looking to build a team and expand service offerings across new and existing accounts. The Role The Stormwater Practice Leader will drive the growth of the stormwater engineering discipline through client development, technical leadership, and team building. This individual will be instrumental in securing new work, maintaining long‑term client relationships, and helping position the firm as a market leader. The role includes a mix of business development, leadership, and technical involvement. Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and win stormwater engineering pursuits while also leading technical development Develop and maintain client relationships to enhance the firm's stormwater market position Expand civil service offerings to existing clients and grow the firm’s client base Build and lead a high‑performing stormwater team Perform and oversee technical components of projects as the practice grows Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) 12+ years of experience in water/stormwater engineering Strong knowledge of water/stormwater systems, means, methods, materials, and industry standards Familiarity with state and federal regulations, with experience on municipal, state, and federal contracts Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective time management and resource planning skills Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to lead others Location Worcester or Lawrence, MA, U.S. Salary Competitive compensation, based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Iron Sky Recruiting
