RN – Telemetry – Travel

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves providing comprehensive care for patients with conditions such as MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, and PVD, as well as managing cardiac drips within a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities of the RN – Telemetry – Travel include:

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN – Telemetry – Travel include:

BLS certification from AHA required
ACLS certification from AHA required
RN License in the state of employment or compact
One year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
