Job DetailsJob Location: Hurricane, UT 84737The Maintenance Team Member plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of Jellystone Park Zion. This position is responsible for maintaining the park's grounds, facilities, and equipment to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of tasks, from repairs to landscaping, while working in a fast-paced, family-friendly setting. Key Responsibilities Facility Maintenance Perform routine maintenance and repairs on park facilities, including cabins, restrooms, and recreational areas. Troubleshoot and fix minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues. Conduct regular inspections of park amenities to ensure everything is in good working condition. Groundskeeping Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of park grounds, including landscaping, mowing, trimming, and debris removal. Ensure trash and recycling bins are emptied regularly. Assist in maintaining pool and waterpark areas, including cleaning, chemical checks, and general upkeep. Equipment Maintenance Inspect, repair, and maintain park equipment, such as golf carts, tools, and playground structures. Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and properly stored after use. Guest Assistance Respond to guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally, addressing maintenance-related issues as needed. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with park policies and regulations. Identify and address potential hazards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Assist with emergency maintenance or repairs as needed. Event Support Assist the events team with setup and takedown for park activities and events, including moving equipment or preparing spaces. Qualifications General knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Ability to operate basic tools, equipment, and machinery (e.g., mowers, power tools, etc.). Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is a plus.
