This job was posted by : For more information, please see: We are seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Clerk / Sales Associate to support daily store operations. This role focuses on customer service, stocking, cleaning, and assisting with register operations as needed. Responsibilities - Greet and assist customers with product selection and inquiries - Provide a positive, professional in-store experience - Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner - Operate POS systems accurately for cash, card, and digital transactions - Assist with inventory restocking and merchandising - Restock and rotate coolers, shelves, and displays - Perform cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom upkeep, cleaning store and cooler windows, etc.) - Verify customer ID and comply with alcohol sales laws - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment - Support management and clerk staff with general operations Qualifications - Retail, cashier, or customer service experience preferred - Must be 21 years of age or older - No felony convictions (per Kansas state law) - Must be able to pass a background check - Reliable and punctual with consistent availability - Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs - Able to use a hand truck / two-wheeler - Able to Stay off their phone - Bilingual abilities to serve a broader customer base are highly valued Schedule (Part-Time)\ Weekends Availability required\ ALL HOLIDAYS ARE REQUIRED*** NO EXCEPTIONS HOLIDAYS ARE BUSIEST SHIFTS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ASSIGNED SHIFTS\ Pay Benefits: - Employee discount - Flexible schedule Application Question(s): - Under Kansas law (K.S.A. 41-713), individuals with a felony conviction are legally prohibited from being employed in connection with a retail liquor establishment unless the conviction has been expunged.
