Our senior living is conveniently located near public transportation and the crossroads of Highways 100, I-35W and I-494. We have 76 Assisted Living, Memory Care and Enhanced Care apartments in a warm, friendly, convenient community.We are seeking a dynamic Executive Director to lead daily operations and inspire a high-performing team committed to exceptional resident care and service.The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and 24/7 operations of the assisted living community. This includes oversight of financial performance, staffing, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth initiatives. This role is ideal for a collaborative, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced senior living environment.Leadership & Team DevelopmentBuild and maintain a high-performing leadership teamSet and monitor operational and performance goals with department leadersProvide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunitiesFoster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvementOversee staffing, scheduling, and payroll accuracyFinancial & Operational ManagementDevelop and manage the annual operating budgetMonitor monthly financial performance and implement strategies for improvementPartner with corporate leadership on financial reviews and planningEnsure efficient operations across all departmentsResident Experience & Quality of CareMaintain a strong presence within the community, engaging with residents and familiesLead customer service standards and ensure high satisfaction levelsOversee grievance resolution and quality improvement initiativesImplement and maintain QAPI programs to support clinical quality and risk managementBilling & Administrative OversightOversee monthly resident billing processes and ensure accuracySupport collections, deposits, and coordination with accounting teamsAddress resident and family billing inquiriesSales, Marketing & OccupancyPartner with sales leaders to develop and execute occupancy strategiesMonitor census trends and adjust strategies to meet goalsSupport tours and prospect engagement as neededRegulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including Minnesota Assisted Living licensure requirementsLead survey readiness and manage regulatory surveys end-to-endMaintain oversight of employee training compliance and policy adherenceFacilities & Community OperationsEnsure the building and grounds are well-maintained and safeProvide direction and oversight to maintenance and operations teamsOwnership & Stakeholder RelationsServe as liaison with ownership, providing regular updates on performanceMaintain strong relationships with corporate partners and community stakeholdersRequired QualificationsLess than 1 year experienceLicensed Assisted Living Director (LALD)Licensed Health Services Exec by BELTSS BoardMeets requirements for Assisted Living Director – In Residence (ALD-IR) by obtaining a permit from BELTSS as an ALD-IR within 30-days of hire date and have experience in the management of an AL or related facility or must be enrolled in a BELTSS approved program within six (6) months of permit issuance (Refer to MN Rule 6400.7080B).
