Facilities CoordinatorLocation: Morrisville, NC 27560Duration: 6 months W2 contract with high possibility of extension based on performance and depending on business needsShift Timing: Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM ESTDescription: As a Facilities Coordinator, you will provide basic support to conference services and soft services operations across the site. This entry-level role focuses on carrying out routine tasks to help maintain meeting spaces and workplace environments to an acceptable standard. You will work under supervision, following clear instructions and established processes.Essential Functions and Other Job InformationMajor Job Responsibilities:Conference Services SupportAssist with setting up and resetting meeting rooms (furniture layout, basic equipment, refreshments)Check rooms are clean, tidy, and ready for useReport issues with meeting rooms or equipmentProvide basic on-the-day support for meetings when requiredSoft Services SupportSupport delivery of services such as cleaning, waste, and cateringCarry out basic checks to ensure areas are clean and presentableReport any service issues to supervisorsGeneral Facilities TasksHelp raise or log simple service requestsCarry out routine site checks and report faults or issuesSupport with moving equipment, furniture, or supplies as neededAssist with basic administrative or record-keeping tasksVendor & Team SupportWork alongside team members and supervisors to complete daily tasksAssist contractors or service providers when requiredFollow instructions for supporting service deliveryCustomer ServiceProvide a polite and helpful service to employees and visitorsRespond to simple queries and direct more complex issues to othersHealth, Safety & ComplianceFollow all site health and safety proceduresUse equipment and materials safelyReport hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditionsJob Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationPrevious experience in conference and meeting support is beneficial but not essentialJob Complexity: Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making. Supervision Received / Freedom to act: Normally receive detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision.Interactions / Business Relationships: Contacts are primarily within immediate work unit.
