Experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector

Job Description Position: Low Voltage Systems Inspector Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventive maintenance on Simplex Fire Alarm Systems and other competitive manufacturers’ product lines. Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for operation of low voltage equipment. Complete service acknowledgements with proper coding via laptops and/or hard copy. Maintain a highly structured inspection schedule, and input, retrieve, and archive inspection documents via mobile device. Complete assigned inspections on time and perform other duties as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided for new hires. Required Qualifications Three (3)+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems. Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements. High school diploma or equivalent. Achieve NICET Level I certification after 1 year on the job. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform physical labor, including carrying equipment and tools up to 70 lbs. Ability to work in unusual and difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment up to 40 ft, and working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. Flexible work hours, including occasional overtime. High level of customer service, ability to work well with others, self‑starter, and ability to work with supervision. Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly. Preferred Qualifications Local state licenses. Knowledge of local Fire Codes. NICET certification preferred. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate: $23.00–$31.00, commensurate with education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
