Be exceptional. Be well.The packaging associate is responsible for packaging and labeling manufactured products according to work standards and specifications. Please note: This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances. We recommend that applicants with known plant allergies or sensitivities consult with a healthcare professional before applying for this position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Package and label products manufactured according to work standards and specificationsSet up the work cell according to the standard work layout and placementPerform 5S assignments to maintain a safe and clean workplaceAdhere to and accurately complete/review production-related documentsRestock inventory of production materials necessary to achieve daily production goalsCount inventory as assigned to maintain inventory accuracy of raw materials, Work in Process, and Finished goodsReconciling labels and batch review throughout the shiftMaintain proper labeling, usage, and storage of chemical suppliesUse equipment and instruments in a safe manner according to standard operating proceduresPerform equipment preventative maintenance tasks as assigned and outlined in SOP'sPerform scale verification checks according to methods and frequency outlined in product specifications and SOP'sMaintain accurate and reliable record keeping, including hour-by-hour boards, batch records, inventory counting sheets, 5S sheets, data charts, and all other pertinent information as assignedEnd of shift cleanup: Including, but not limited to, mopping floors, wiping tables, cleaning utensils and other dishes, and taking out trashPerform label reconciliation accuratelyWork on special projects as assignedContribute to cross-functional brainstormingEscalate any problems to the Group Leader and/or the Production ManagerMaintain a positive and supportive work culture, with a focus on efficiency and productivityFollow GMP standards and personal hygieneAble to work overtime as requiredComply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosureQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
