Fabricator

We are seeking a 1st shift Fabricator to work at our Blytheville, AR facility. Applicants must pass a pre‑employment physical exam and drug screen. Classification and base pay will be dependent upon skillset and prior experience. Duties will be performed in‑house and on customer site. Requirements Current, valid driver license Proven ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly High attention to detail and self‑motivation skills Essential Duties & Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble metal parts and equipment for machinery used in steel production. Develop layout and plan sequence of operations, applying mathematics, stock allowances for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage and physical properties of metal. Construct templates and fixtures. Verify conformance of workpiece to specifications using measuring instruments. Perform welding, brazing, and cutting using gas and electrical welding equipment. Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded. Set up, assemble and tack weld parts. Build up worn and/or defective surfaces. Read and interpret blueprints. Determine operation sequences and methods where specifications are not available. Accurate aligning and fitting are required. Refer to technical drawings and written directions. Using a torch or an oxygen lance, dismantle, assemble, and cut materials to size and shape. Mentor entry and mid‑level fabricators.
