Hourly Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Our client is seeking a motivated and passionate Automotive Service Technician with hands-on automotive experience who wants to build a meaningful career while helping others.

You'll work with innovative mobility products, including handicap-accessible vehicles, adaptive driving equipment, and other driving aids designed to help individuals of all ages maintain greater mobility and independence.

What You'll Do
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair adaptive automotive equipment and driving aids
• Diagnose and repair automotive and electrical equipment according to company standards
• Install and service restraint systems, lifts, mobility equipment, and related vehicle components
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to confirm service needs and repair requirements
• Inspect and test vehicles for quality, damage, safety, and compliance
• Document inspection findings, repairs, installations, and completed service work
• Review completed work to help ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate service, repair, and installation records
• Perform diagnostic and post-service test drives
• Drive vehicles for customer pick-up, drop-off, and delivery as needed
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and shop facilities
• Respond to after-hours service calls and on-site service needs when required
• Assist with the training and supervision of apprentice technicians

Qualifications

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous automotive repair experience strongly preferred
• Automotive electrical experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to safely operate vehicles for evaluations, test drives, deliveries, and parts or supply transportation
