Quality Inspector – Final Inspection | 1st Shift | Direct Hire

Location: Cincinnati/Mason Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $22.00–$29.00 per hour

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector – Final Inspection to join their team on 1st shift. This position plays a critical role in ensuring precision aerospace and gas turbine components meet customer specifications and industry quality standards before shipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspections on aerospace and gas turbine components
• Interpret blueprints, operation sheets, travelers, and engineering drawings
• Verify part conformance using precision measuring tools including:
  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Gauges
  • Borescopes
  • Rulers
• Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) requirements
• Review and verify inspection documentation and production paperwork
• Process and track non-conforming materials
• Update travelers, control charts, and ERP system records
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP quality standards
• Communicate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of final inspection experience within aerospace or gas turbine manufacturing
• Experience working within ISO 9001, AS9100, or NADCAP quality systems preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
• Lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds regularly
• Perform reaching, bending, twisting, and grasping motions
• Ability to operate overhead lifting equipment when required
• Must possess 20/20 vision (corrected or uncorrected) and pass annual vision testing
