Luxury Pro Drywall LLC is a premier drywall and finishes contractor servicing luxury residential and

We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Field Operations to lead and control field operations across all active Luxury Pro Drywall projects.

Job Summary

As the Director of Field Operations (DFO), you will be responsible for the performance, control, and

accountability of all field operations across multiple concurrent luxury construction projects.

This is not a single-project superintendent role.

The DFO manages the Roaming Site Superintendents and is responsible for ensuring every active project has an executable schedule, properly allocated labor, available materials, measurable production, active QA/QC, complete field documentation, and clear ownership of outstanding issues.

The DFO must know what is happening, what is behind, what is at risk, what happens next, and who owns the correction across every active project.

The position requires expert-level knowledge of drywall systems, framing, finishing, architectural detailing, construction sequencing, manpower planning, production control, and field leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and control field operations across all active projects, including layout, framing, drywall,

finishing, specialty details, punch list, and final turnover.

• Directly manage and hold all Roaming Site Superintendents accountable for field execution,

reporting, quality, schedule, labor, and project readiness.

• Maintain control of project schedules and ensure field activities are aligned with actual site

conditions, contractual milestones, and production requirements.

• Review and enforce a Five-Day Look Ahead for every active project, confirming:

o Required scope and work sequence

o Crew assignments and manpower

o Material availability

o Equipment and access requirements

o Trade coordination

o Inspections and field dependencies

o Potential schedule conflicts or delays

• Ensure the Five-Day Look Ahead is executable — not theoretical — before the following workweek

begins.

• Manage labor and manpower across all active projects:

o Review manpower requirements by project and scope

o Allocate crews based on schedule and production priorities

o Prevent labor shortages and crew overlaps

o Coordinate labor reassignments when field conditions change

o Confirm upcoming manpower before crews are required

• Review production quantities versus project estimates and planned durations.

• Identify production variances, underperforming crews, sequence problems, and corrective actions

before they impact project completion.

• Ensure labor is producing measurable installed work and not simply accumulating hours on site.

• Review and approve all superintendent material requests.

• Coordinate purchase orders, vendors, deliveries, pickups, substitutions, and material staging.

• Confirm materials are ordered with required lead time and available before scheduled installation.

• Identify backorders, missing materials, or procurement risks before they stop production.

• Enforce Luxury Pro Drywall's QA/QC standards at every phase of construction, including:

o Layout

o Metal framing

o Drywall installation

o Taping and Level 5 finish

o Reglet reveals and shadow seams

o Specialty ceilings and architectural details

o Frameless doors

o Punch-out and final walkthrough

• Verify required QA/QC inspections are completed before work is covered or allowed to advance to

the next phase.

• Conduct field spot checks and ensure deficiencies are assigned, documented, and corrected before

they create rework.

• Enforce superintendent compliance with Raken and company reporting requirements, including:

o Morning check-ins

o Daily kickoff meetings

o Mid-day video walkthroughs

o End-of-day reports

o Photo documentation

o Production quantities

o Timesheets and attendance

o Material and equipment records

o QA/QC documentation

• Review superintendent reporting for accuracy and completeness, not simply whether a report was

submitted.

• Draft, submit, and track RFIs based on unresolved field conditions and superintendent

documentation.

• Coordinate and submit Change Order Proposals with the appropriate internal team members.

• Maintain control of open RFIs, COs, approvals, pending directives, and field decisions.

• Enforce company policy that no verbal changes are executed in the field without proper written

authorization / Work Change Directive approval.

• Maintain professional communication with general contractors, project teams, architects,

consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership.

• Enforce job-site safety, OSHA requirements, housekeeping, company uniforms, professional conduct,

and Luxury Pro Drywall field standards.

• Review active projects daily and identify issues requiring escalation as:

o P1 — Schedule / Execution Risk

o P2 — Quality / Cost Risk

• Provide company leadership with clear daily visibility into:

o Project status

o Superintendent compliance

o Labor and manpower

o Production performance

o Material readiness

o RFIs / Change Orders

o QA/QC issues

o Schedule risks and required corrective actions

• Prepare and lead the field operations portion of the End-of-Week Project Progress Meeting. Every Friday, confirm for each active project:

o What must be completed

o What is starting next

o Labor is secured

o Materials are ready

o Trade coordination is complete

o QA/QC requirements are identified

o Schedule risks have an owner and corrective action

• Hold superintendents and field personnel accountable for commitments, deadlines, production,

reporting, and corrective actions.

• Anticipate problems before they affect the project. The DFO is expected to prevent delays — not

simply report them after they happen.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of field experience in commercial or high-end residential drywall, framing, finishing, or

interior construction

• Previous experience managing multiple projects, superintendents, foremen, and field crews

simultaneously

• Expert-level knowledge of all phases of layout, metal framing, drywall installation, Level 5 finishing,

and specialty architectural details

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, manpower planning, production tracking, and

schedule control

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, reflected ceiling plans, details, specifications, and

construction schedules

• Ability to identify field conflicts, missing scope, sequencing problems, and constructibility issues

before they affect production

• Strong understanding of material procurement, lead times, deliveries, staging, and field logistics

• Experience implementing and enforcing QA/QC standards

• Ability to measure crew production and compare actual installed quantities against estimates and

planned durations

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold superintendents and crews accountable

• Strong professional communication skills with general contractors, architects, consultants, vendors,

subcontractors, and internal leadership

• Familiarity with RFIs, Change Orders, Work Change Directives, and construction documentation

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and field enforcement

• Proficiency with field management software, especially Raken or similar construction management

systems

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Ability to travel between multiple active projects throughout South Florida

• Valid driver's license required

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
