Separations Field Application Specialist - NJ/NYC Area

Sartorius Corporation

Sartorius seeks a Field Application Specialist to provide technical expertise and support for separation technologies to customers in the NJ/NYC region. The role combines field demonstrations, customer troubleshooting, and sales support to drive product adoption and market growth.

Responsibilities

Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and evaluations with customers; generate structured trial reports
Support sales team through product positioning, presentations, and customer qualification analysis
Provide field technical support, troubleshoot implementation problems, and resolve customer inquiries
Collect and analyze customer feedback and product performance data to inform feature improvements
Deliver product training to internal sales teams and conduct customer workshops and seminars

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biological engineering, biotechnology, or related life sciences field
3+ years of process development, bioprocessing, or field application experience in biotech/biopharmaceutical/CDMO settings
In-depth knowledge of TFF, UF/MF/DF, NFF, viral filtration, and clarification technologies
Strong troubleshooting capability for technical and application issues in customer environments
Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
Ability to travel >50%, including day trips and overnight travel
Capability to lift approximately 50 pounds
