Physician (PRN) – Hospice & Palliative Care Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care Colorado Springs, CO PRN | Variable Schedule (includes weekends & inpatient rounding) $107.00 – $121.00/hour + mileage reimbursement Make a Meaningful Impact Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate, experienced Physician (PRN) to support our hospice and palliative care programs. In this role, you’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. What You’ll Do Provide physician services across hospice and palliative care settings (inpatient, outpatient, and home/facility visits) Collaborate with attending physicians and care teams on goals of care, pain management, and symptom control Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and contribute to care planning Review patient referrals to assess diagnosis, prognosis, and eligibility Support admissions, discharges, and transitions between palliative and hospice care Serve as a clinical resource and liaison to physicians, hospitals, and community partners Participate in on‑call rotation (evenings/weekends) and provide after‑hours support as needed Step in for Medical Director responsibilities when designated What We’re Looking For MD or DO from an accredited medical school Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (hospice, palliative care, internal medicine, family medicine, oncology, or related field) Board Certified or Board Eligible (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospice & Palliative Medicine) Current CPR certification Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to travel locally Competitive hourly rate: $107.00 – $121.00/hour Mileage reimbursement: $0.625/mile (one of the highest in the industry) We’re committed to supporting our team as much as we support our patients.
