HR Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong knowledge of U.S. labor and employment law requirements.

• Oversee investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action, and grievance handling.

• Advise leadership on compliance risks, labor practices, and regulatory changes.
\n
• Ensure compliance with federal and local laws such as FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other employment‑related regulations
\n
• Support day‑to‑day HR activities such as onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and maintaining employee files.

• Assist managers with performance reviews, coaching, and employee development.
\n
• Partner with teams on compensation changes, benefits questions, and employee support needs.
\n
• Handle HR inquiries, documentation, auditing, and routine HR processes.
\n
• Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, ensuring consistency with federal requirements and organizational standards.
\n
• Conduct periodic audits of HR practices for compliance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to policy.
\n
• Recommend revisions to align with evolving workplace laws and best practices.
\n
• Support employee and manager training on policy awareness and compliance expectations.

• Help administer benefits, retirement plans, wellness programs, and return‑to‑work processes.

• Work closely with leaders, managers, and employees to address HR challenges and improve employee experience.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
\n
• Master’s degree preferred, aligning with senior HR expectations in U.S. markets.
\n
