Yard Associate

Position: Porter / Yard Worker Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, servicing equipment as necessary, and inspecting equipment before and after rentals. Key Responsibilities Work in a challenging, fast-paced environment where no day is the same Advance into mechanic, driver or customer service roles Work with an incredible team of people in a safety-focused culture Station, retrieve, and maintain equipment on company property Maintain a written maintenance schedule and perform servicing when needed Inspect equipment before and after rental to document any lost or damaged items Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Effective written and oral communication with customers Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) General mechanical aptitude Safety-focused mindset Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs Physical Demands The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required. Compensation Base Pay Range: $18.99 - 26.11 hourly; starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
