Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

Title: NMT / PET Technologist

Schedule: Shift pattern: 4x10s or 5x8s (clinician choice). Variable start times: 07:0009:00. Call: post-shift and rotating weekends; on-call window generally 17:3007:00.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year total NMT experience
• Required PET experience: Minimum 6 months
• ARRT (N) OR NMTCB PLUS current CA license (must be in-hand)
• BLS certification
• Key clinical skills:
• PET/CT scans and attenuation correction
• General nuclear medicine studies (cardiac, bone, renal, VQ, parathyroid, In-111 WB)
• IV starts/maintenance and handling radioactive materials

Compliance / Notes:

• CA state license must be current and in-hand
• SSN and DOB required for submission/compliance
• LA Fire card: required within last 30 days (facility will not reimburse)
• References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (can include charge/lead)
• Background/license issues: disclose upfront; no open license issues approved
• Travelers expected to float between facilities; refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
• Must be open to working 3 of the 5 listed holidays
