Company Providence at Home with Compassus This role will conduct patient visits in the Santa Clarita, Castaic and Aqua Dulce areas. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you’ll blend innovation with compassionate care by incorporating AI-powered documentation tools into your practice. This role allows you to focus on helping patients regain independence while improving the accuracy and efficiency of your documentation. This is a Pay Per Visit home health role. Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy sessions centered on patient functionality and goals. Document therapy progress with the support of AI technology, reducing after-hours workload. Deliver care with full attention and connection to patients. Patient-Centered Care Spend more time providing hands-on, compassionate care to patients. Reduced Documentation Burden Use AI-supported tools to streamline clinical notes and regain personal time. Work-Life Balance Cut down on after-hoursdocumentation, allowing more time for family and personal priorities. Enhanced Efficiency Experience an easier transition to technology-driven workflows that simplify compliance with care standards. Education And/or Experience Required - Bachelor's or Masters Degree Occupational Therapy Preferred - Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy (also acceptable in lieu of Bachelor’s/Master’s) CA: Preferred - Coursework/Training Training in Treatment of Adult Hemiplegia and Hand Therapy. CA: Required - 1 year Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or home care; Preferred - Home care experience. Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations CA: Required upon hire: California Occupational Therapist License (Vendor Managed) Required within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed) Physical Demands and Work Environment The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In a healthcare setting, exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and conditions typical to the field is expected. Routine use of standard medical equipment and tools associated with clinical care is essential.
