Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves working with patients experiencing MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and some med-surg overflow. The nurse will manage many cardiac drips without titration in a competent and independent manner.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
