Job Summary The Digital Specialist will lead the development of an eCommerce‑centric model, crafting seamless online experiences that seamlessly integrate with our retail locations to drive revenue growth while prioritizing customer retention. We aim to ensure accessibility for diamond sports players and parents across all channels, unifying the retail and digital experiences. In this role, you’ll assist in creating an eCommerce ecosystem for customers to engage with products, service booking, loyalty programs, and educational content via desktop and mobile platforms. You will work as part of a nimble team, where you’ll drive day‑to‑day activities to optimize our eCommerce sites, maximizing sales and customer retention. The ideal Digital Specialist will possess an analytical and data‑driven approach towards all eCommerce sites and third‑party platforms. You must be comfortable dissecting complex problems, managing multiple fast‑paced workstreams simultaneously, and executing agreed‑upon plans efficiently. Clear and concise communication is essential, including engaging with leadership to build consensus, define approaches, and communicate project status regularly. Minimum Requirements College degree High level of organization and extreme attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent problem‑solving abilities Success in retail, omnichannel merchandising, and distribution Comfort with change and the ability to wear multiple hats as part of an evolving organization Bonus Qualifications Experience with SEO Graphic Design Experience Experience with site development and optimization Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Magento. Tasks / Duties / Responsibilities 1. Ecommerce Ecosystem – 50% Oversee product listings, including writing product descriptions, selecting images, and optimizing content for search and conversion. Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and pricing to ensure accuracy and competitiveness. Analyze website performance metrics, such as traffic sources, bounce rates, and conversion rates, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns and social media promotions. Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve and adapt ecommerce strategies accordingly. Utilize analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Keyword Planner, and AHREFS to collect data for new opportunities. Develop and maintain a comprehensive ecommerce content calendar, ensuring timely publication of new products, promotions, and content updates. 2. Site Merchandising – 25% Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement, navigation, and user experience on our website. Analyze site performance metrics and user behavior data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Develop and execute strategic merchandising plans to highlight key product categories, seasonal promotions, and new arrivals. Monitor website analytics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement in site merchandising and user experience. Collaborate with the marketing team to align merchandising efforts with promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives. Regularly review and update product photography and imagery to maintain a consistent and high-quality visual aesthetic. 3. Product Data Entry – 25% Enter and maintain product information in the ERP and e-commerce platform, including SKUs, pricing, descriptions, and product attributes. Monitor new product launches to ensure accurate and timely setup of items across systems. Work closely with Purchasing to apply product updates such as costs, availability, and discontinued items. Coordinate with Marketing to implement approved product content updates, promotions, and naming changes on the website. #J-18808-Ljbffr
