MRI Technologist

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment purposes. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and may handle on-call, portable, and site-specific exams. Cross-training in MRI is encouraged, with registration as an RT (R) or MRI professional preferred. Responsibilities: Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures. Perform imaging studies accurately and efficiently, including on-call and portable exams. Qualifications & Skills: Associate or trade school education. No prior experience required; experience (2+ years) preferred. Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), and certifications like RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES. Willingness to cross-train in MRI; registration as an RT (R) or MRI is advantageous. CPR and intravenous therapy certifications are preferred. Key Duties: Independently conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities. Ensure quality control and patient safety during imaging.
