Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare is now hiring a Full-time CT Technologist at our Alton Memorial Hospital location. Position Details : Sign-On Bonus $5,000 (for eligible applicants) Full-time; Overnight 12 hour shifts, 3 days per week Monday & Tuesday 6:00 p.m to 7:00 a.m. Friday 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Willing to cross train in CT!! (Must be R.T. (R) registered if not (CT) registered) Overview Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Alton Memorial hasTwo 64-slice CT scanners, one with fluoroscopy capabilities. This leading technology allows for faster scan times and less radiation dose to the patient while maintaining image quality. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
